My grandmother (Noni) made her fair share of Biscotti and Pizzelles, and loved to share them! As a little girl, I spent hours watching her prepare them.
Biscotti is an Italian biscuit cookie, twice baked, and crisp. They are perfect for dunking in coffees or teas. Bake a tray for your friends and family. Present them on a special tray, plate, or basket; in pretty boxes, celophanes, and ribbons.
Tip: If the biscotti happens to overbake, no worries… After the cookies have cooled, gently take each cookie and gently go over a fine-toothed grated to remove any burned areas.
Note: This is a messy process, and best to do over your sink.
